What inspires your art work and how did it develop?
I love looking art that in my eyes is done well. When I draw or paint I want my work to be created with the idea that I'm pushing my technical abilities. My favourite artist are those that realize that technique (be it sloppy or tight) is as important as imagery. My own work comes from just exploring visual language. I like playing with icons and mixing relationships. I think that comes from just trying to draw everyday. Pen and paper is were I can explore ideas free from the weight of criticism. That's what I love about drawing. It can be a way to work out an idea or it can stand alone as a completed piece of art.
