Mostly mac
Site(s):

coming soon!)
The Boss:
Tony Danza
Design education:
Yep ( especially George )
Hunk, spunk or flunk:
Junk baby, all the way
Disgusting personal habits:
Well normally i'd be general and non-specific in an arty non-accesible
kind of way, but i've really got one: I do pick at my thumbs ( strange
nervous habit ) which causes these whacked out groove patterns to form...its
pretty fucked up.
Nice personal habits:
3 showers a day
(George can make a lobster bisque that will make you weep and scream
for your mommy )
Hobbies off the net:
Snowboarding, Rock and Roll
George surfs and builds rock walls
Favourite quote:
Bodoni " ( if you were seeing that in bodoni, you'd know what
i mean.)
What do you know about Australian web designers:
They're nice, and good: Annette Louden
(http://www.construct.net/who/annette/)
has been doing this longer than most of us i'd bet, and rocking.
Matthew Willis does nice things.
How did you first learn of the internet:
This guy Dave morris showed me some pages he was doing, all grey
and texty, i think it was my last year in college
What do you like/hate about the net:
Limitations
What drew you to web design:
It seemed more interesting to be making things that gave people more
control (as opposed to a poster that is fairly static). I think George
has been overheard as saying: " I just want to make shit move."
What is your working style (Photoshop, etc):
Ummmm... well it starts with an idea ( in theory)
Whatever seems appropriate towards that end ( the idea).
Photography, drawings, sock puppets...
Do you think that Flash is cool or overused:
Both
But its how its used thats important. When you transcend the tricks
you'll stick out in a sea of overusers.
Do you prefer technologically advanced sites or sites with simple
but good design:
Either can be wonderful if there is a good idea behind it ( either can
be horrendous if they aren't based on anything ... surface is easy )
Do you have any cool design tips:
Look at everything ( i'm serious )
Favourite sites:
Bornmag, shift, uploading, spleen, tree axis, volumeone,
Favourite designers: (Web or otherwise)
Piotr
Szyhalski does beautiful stuff, and he has great ideas..smart. George
Larou is always the man of course. ( there is the neverending list of
people who are rocking but we all know each other, so theres no sense
patting each other on the back right )
Design styles you hate:
Naw, its all good - George said it best: "if you hate it now you'll
love it in 20 years".
Do you think web designers will become the design elite:
Sure, all our good ideas will be stripped down and the surface will
be used to sell sodas.
Do you see yourself as an influential web designer:
umm... i dont think so, but if we can help we're happy to
How would you like to be remembered:
Being remembered at all is lovely
Any final comments:
Don't take the whole thing too seriously.
