A few months ago you shutdown (or took down) your website famewhore.com, what were your reasons behind doing this:
At the time I was experiencing burnout creatively and was beginning to question the purpose and success of the site as well as my design sense. I felt disdain for the web and the industry I was in, perhaps because I was devoting less time to personal endeavours and more to "work" work as well as feeling like I was stuck in a design rut and my bag of design tricks was starting to run dry. I was reusing shit just to get by.

If you were annoyed or sick of the web how come you didn't voice this in some way rather than just taking the site down:
I don't think my work is so precious that I wan't it to live on forever looking the way it does. This is the web, after all... Things don't last forever on it, and things will change. I just didn't have time to throw over a new coat of paint, so I just junked it, and hopefully will have a new slicker Famewhore.com soon.

What has the response and feedback been like since the site went down? You have recently put up a new links splash, is this the start of the new famewhore:
I never thought that Famewhore.com would be missed, to tell you the truth. I got a lot of people who entirely misunderstood my checkout page. They thought they had been misdirected to an e-commerce check out page! HAHA! That shit is funny. I am planning a relaunch of Famewhore.com when I have something to say. Right now I just want to get all this work off my plate, and come home to my loving girlfriend at a decent hour.

Any final comments:
Big up to all the designers with something to say. Designers, stop sucking corporate dick so much and make some things for yourself and for others. And don't be so precious. And thanks for letting me swear, Andrew.
